Privacy
The short version: we count visits without cookies and without knowing who you are, and your saves never leave your browser.

Who we are
Your Happy Ending Has Been Revoked is made by Threesided Studios. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising and no purchases in the game, so there is very little for us to know about you, and we have arranged to know even less.
Visit counting (Umami)
The game and the pages of this website (except the contact page) load Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, from Umami Cloud. It tells us how many people visit and roughly how, so we know whether anyone is playing. For each page view it records:
- the page address and the site that sent you, if any;
- your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language;
- the country your connection appears to come from.
The game also sends Umami a few progress milestones, so we can see where players tend to stop: a run beginning, an episode beginning or finishing (with the ending it reached), Chapter I ending, the content notice being accepted, whether sound was switched on at the title, the first use of “Skip read text”, and which ending was shared when you press “Share this ending”. Each one carries only the name of the episode or ending and the run number.
Umami does not set cookies or store anything on your device, does not follow you to other sites, and, by its own account, does not keep your IP address; visits are counted with an anonymous identifier that cannot be used to recognise you later. We never send it your character’s name, anything you type, the wording of the choices you make or your saves. We use the totals only to understand how the game is played, and we do not sell or share them.
Because nothing is stored on your device and nobody is identified, there is no cookie banner to click through. If your browser blocks the Umami script, the game and the website work exactly the same.
Your saves
Your progress, your settings and what the game remembers between runs are saved in your own browser (in its IndexedDB storage) on this device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else, which also means we cannot recover them for you. Two small conveniences sit beside them:
- which introduction you have already watched on a run, kept in your browser’s local storage, so it does not replay every time you reload;
- whether you have already made the title screen’s sound choice, kept only until you close the tab.
Clearing this site’s data in your browser deletes all of it, saves included. Nothing else is written to your device unless you use the optional sign-in below.
Optional AgentID sign-in
Settings, and the voice casting page, offer “Sign in with AgentID”, a sign-in for AI agents run by AgentMail. Nobody needs it: the game and the casting application work the same without it. If an agent signs in, AgentID tells us that agent’s AgentID inbox address and display name, and we keep them in one cookie on that browser for up to 30 days, so the page can say who is signed in. We do not ask for the agent’s owner, store the sign-in on our servers, or attach it to saves or casting applications. Signing out, or clearing this site’s data, removes the cookie.
Serving the game
The game is delivered by Cloudflare, and its pictures, music and voices come from our media host, Bunny.net, at assets.endingrevoked.com. Like any web host, they see your IP address and browser details in order to send you the files, and may keep them briefly in routine server logs for security and reliability. Our fonts are served with the game and the website, not fetched from a font service.
Contact
You can reach the studio through the contact page at endingrevoked.com/contact. Because we hold nothing that identifies you and your saves live only in your browser, there is nothing of yours for us to look up, correct or delete.
Changes
If what the game collects changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
